Franklin Miller
Awarded with John S. Foster JR. Medal
Friends and colleagues honored Frank Miller as he was presented the John S. Foster Jr. Medal in October 2024. Miller’s distinguished 31-year career in the U.S government included senior roles in the DOD and the White House in which he advocated strategic modernization, worked closely with U.S. allies, and led efforts to review war planning that resulted in major nuclear force reductions. In retirement, Miller continues to provide leadership within the defense community. He is the ninth recipient of the Foster Medal.
